We are pleased to announce that Ms. Yuttena Singh Dangol, Mr. Nabin Timsina, and Ms. Prepshuna Dhakal, 2nd year students of Electronics, Communication and Information Engineering at Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM), have been selected for the national-level “STEAM Materials Design Competition among University Students” organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST), Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Their project, titled “Interactive Platform for Traditional Musical Instruments of Nepal,” focuses on the digital preservation and promotion of Nepal’s rich musical heritage and aligns with the theme “Modernization of Indigenous/Traditional Technology.” The initiative addresses a serious and timely issue by aiming to digitally conserve endangered traditional musical instruments, systematically document indigenous knowledge, and provide accessible learning resources through a centralized digital platform.

By integrating traditional culture with modern technology, the project contributes meaningfully to the sustainable preservation of Nepal’s cultural identity. ACEM extends its heartfelt congratulations to the team for their innovative and socially impactful work and wishes them continued success in this project and in their future academic and professional endeavors.
