Completion of the Faculty Development Program on Drone Technology

The Faculty Development Program on Drone Technology, which began on August 5, 2025 at Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM), has successfully come to an end after a month of intensive training and mentorship on September 4, 2025.

Led by Dr. Jaedong Choi, Chair of the Department of Industrial Drone at Far East University, South Korea, the program provided faculty members with advanced knowledge and hands-on exposure to cutting-edge drone technologies. Throughout the sessions, participants explored diverse applications of drones, including disaster management, environmental monitoring, smart agriculture, and sustainable infrastructure development, while also engaging in discussions on the future potential of drone innovation in Nepal.

In his final remarks, Dr. Choi expressed appreciation for the active participation and enthusiasm of ACEM faculty members. He emphasized the importance of continuous research and collaboration to harness drone technology for addressing Nepal’s geographical challenges and contributing to its developmental goals.

The successful completion of this program marks an important milestone in ACEM’s commitment to academic excellence, technological innovation, and capacity building for a more resilient and sustainable future.
