Day 1: Workshop on ‘Git and GitHub’

Day 1 of the Git and GitHub Workshop, scheduled from January 12 to 14, 2026, was successfully conducted at Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM). The workshop is organized by the BCA Club of Etech Spark (BCES), one of the active student clubs of the institution. The first day marked the formal beginning of this three day program, with enthusiastic participation from students.

The sessions focused on introducing participants to the fundamentals of Git and GitHub, emphasizing the role of version control in modern software development. Students learned how to manage repositories, track changes in code, and collaborate efficiently within development teams.

Through interactive lectures and hands on activities, participants gained practical exposure to real world development workflows. The engaging and productive learning environment on Day 1 set a strong foundation for the more advanced topics and collaborative exercises planned for the remaining days of the workshop.
