Vacancy Announcement: Urja Nepal Utility Internship Grants Program
Advanced College of Engineering Management (ACEM), affiliated to Tribhuvan University, seeks applications from qualified individuals for 40 internship positions in USAID’s Urja Nepal Utility Internship Grants Program. The program intends to provide direct internship to the recent engineering graduates and CTEVT trainees, particularly women and minorities, in various offices of Nepal Electrical Authority (NEA).

Opportunity:
Interns will be provided with an opportunity of hands-on experience in day-to-day activities of the national electricity utility, mainly focusing on the distribution aspects.
Interns will be provided with the opportunity of field visits to various generating plants and substations inside Kathmandu Valley as well as outside valley.
Interns will be provided with one month of PSC examination orientation classes.
Interns will be provided with monthly stipend.
Eligibility Criteria:
Recent engineering graduates in engineering or trainees from CTEVT with a focus on technical and vocational training.
Female, individuals from under developed regions, and minority group, including people with disability are encouraged to apply.
Candidates should demonstrate a keen interest in pursuing a career in the Nepalese power and utility sector.
