Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM) is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Center for Appropriate Technology Nepal (CATN) to collaborate on the Climate Smart WASH Project (2025–2028). This strategic partnership marks an important step toward strengthening academic–industry collaboration in addressing pressing environmental and sustainability challenges.

The Climate Smart WASH Project focuses on promoting sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) solutions that are resilient to the impacts of climate change. Through this collaboration, ACEM students and faculty will have the opportunity to actively engage in applied research, field-based projects, internships, and innovation-driven initiatives that bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world practice.

The partnership is expected to foster interdisciplinary learning and encourage students to develop practical solutions in areas such as water resource management, climate adaptation, environmental sustainability, and community-based engineering. It will also provide a platform for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and collaborative research between academia and practitioners in the field.

Through joint efforts, both institutions aim to contribute to sustainable development goals by designing and implementing impactful, community-centered solutions. This collaboration reflects ACEM’s continued commitment to nurturing socially responsible engineers equipped to tackle global challenges at the local level.

Building knowledge. Driving impact. Shaping a sustainable future.
