The Center for Academia-Industry Linkages and International Collaboration

The Center for Academia-Industry Linkages and International Collaboration (CAILIC), established as a dedicated unit under Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM), is a pioneering initiative that serves as a strategic platform for collaboration between academia and industry. By bridging the gap between academic institutions and both government and private industries, CAILIC cultivates a robust ecosystem for industrial innovation, sustainable employment, and entrepreneurship.

Established in 2000 AD, ACEM brings over 25 years of experience in engineering education and has built a strong reputation for delivering quality education with a focus on practical learning, research, and industry engagement. As an institution affiliated with the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Tribhuvan University, ACEM continues to uphold academic excellence and industry relevance. Reflecting on its guiding philosophy, "ACEM, where academia collaborates industries" the institution has consistently prioritized this crucial pillar. The establishment of CAILIC further strengthens this commitment by creating a dedicated platform for collaboration between educational institutions, industries, and international partners.

CAILIC fosters a dynamic ecosystem for industry innovation, sustainable employment, and high-growth entrepreneurship through its multifaceted operations. It facilitates collaborative research and development (R&D) and the commercialization of innovations, promotes industry internships, and supports curriculum design and alignment with industry needs. It also conducts specialized workshops, training programs, and technology transfer initiatives, along with facilitating international exchange and accreditation, thereby enhancing employability, sustainability, and innovation.

In addition, this center organizes job fair events, industry exhibitions, career counseling sessions, on-campus recruitment, and industry-sponsored projects, contributing to the development of the "triple helix" model that integrates academia, industry, and government.
