CAILIC at ACEM Hosts Insightful Session on Patents and Innovation

The Center for Academia-Industry Linkages and International Collaboration (CAILIC) at Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM) successfully organized a sharing session on “Patents: From Idea to Innovation to Prototyping” on Baishakh 17, 2083 (April 30, 2026).

The session was delivered by Mr. Zoran Dujakovic, an accomplished innovator and holder of more than a dozen patents. Drawing upon his extensive experience, he provided valuable insights into the process of transforming innovative ideas into patented technologies and functional prototypes.

Key areas covered during the session included idea development, intellectual property rights, patent filing processes, and effective prototyping strategies. The session offered participants a practical understanding of how innovation can be systematically developed and protected.

The program saw active participation from faculty and staff, creating an engaging platform for knowledge exchange and discussion. Attendees benefited from real-world perspectives and had the opportunity to interact directly with the speaker.
