Advanced College of Engineering and Management (acem) has developed a “Utility Internship Program” with support from USAID Urja Nepal. The internship will be provided in various offices of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) inside Kathmandu Valley. The details of the internship are as follows.
Number of internship positions: 20
Faculty: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
Requirement: Final Year College (Undergraduate or Bachelor Level) Student; currently in final year or recently graduated (Completed minimum 3 years of full time College Level study)
Type: Paid
Period: 5 months (August 2023 to December 2023)
The internship will be provided to the:
Student who is a Woman, LGBTQIA+, Ethnic Minority, Excluded Caste, and/or other Marginalized Groups
(Other Marginalized Groups could include permanent residents of Remote or Underdeveloped Areas as Madhesh Province, Karnali Province, High Hill or Mountain Districts, Students from Single Parent or No Parent Households, Poor Households with annual income below national average, etc.)

*The final year college students are required to submit a ‘No Objection Letter’ from the respective college to take part in the Internship Program.
*Selection of the interns will be done on the basis of interview and written exam. Full details of the internship program will be uploaded in acem website on 12th July 2023.
