Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM) hosted DRISTILagani, a post-hackathon innovation accelerator program organized by Team KODEDRISTI, bringing together innovators, investors, and experts to support promising Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) ideas. The program was organized on Ashadh 27, 2083 (July 11, 2026).
Representing ACEM, Associate Professor Dr. Shanker Dhakal, Chief of the Center for Academia-Industry Linkages and International Collaboration (CAILIC), participated in the day-long program as a guest and welcomed fellow guests and enthusiastic participants on behalf of the College. The session provided an engaging platform for discussion and interaction throughout the day.
The program featured a panel of potential investors serving as jury members who listened to and assessed STI products identified through a recent AI Hackathon. Their insightful comments and valuable feedback provided encouragement and guidance to the participating young innovators.
In his closing remarks, the Mr. Ramesh Kumar Silwal, Chairperson of ACEM expressed appreciation to Team KODEDRISTI for choosing ACEM as the host institution and acknowledged the contributions of everyone involved in making the program a success.
The initiative aligns closely with the vision and mission of CAILIC in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and academia-industry collaboration. ACEM is pleased to support such initiatives and looks forward to continued partnerships in the future.
During the program, Dr. Shanker Dhakal also extended further technical support to a team of innovators who proposed an IoT- and AI-based Structural Health Monitoring System.
