Posted on June 16, 2026

Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM) proudly marks a significant milestone in its ongoing Industry-Academia Collaboration Program as Ms. Jashmi Maharjan and Mr. Rajendra Dulal, fourth-year students from the 2079 Batch of the Civil Engineering Department, officially signed their fellowship contracts with Hydro-Consult Engineering Ltd. on Ashadh 2, 2083 (June 16, 2026).

The contract signing ceremony formally initiates the students’ participation in the eight-month Student Fellowship Program, which aims to provide aspiring engineers with valuable industry exposure and practical learning experiences. Through this fellowship, the students will have the opportunity to engage in real-world engineering projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and gain firsthand insight into professional engineering practices.

The fellowship represents an important step in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry application. By working closely with industry experts, the students will enhance their technical competencies while developing essential professional skills, including problem-solving, communication, teamwork, project coordination, and professional ethics. These experiences are expected to complement their academic studies and contribute significantly to their overall professional development.

A key feature of the fellowship program is the sponsorship of the students’ final-year tuition fees, reflecting Hydro-Consult Engineering Ltd.’s commitment to supporting engineering education and nurturing future engineering talent. The program not only provides financial support but also creates opportunities for students to expand their professional networks and gain a deeper understanding of industry standards, expectations, and emerging challenges.

The contract signing further strengthens the collaborative relationship between ACEM and Hydro-Consult Engineering Ltd., demonstrating a shared commitment to fostering innovation, experiential learning, and workforce readiness among engineering students. Such partnerships play a vital role in preparing graduates to meet the evolving demands of the engineering profession and contribute effectively to national development.

ACEM remains dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities that connect students with industry, research, and professional practice. Through strategic collaborations with leading organizations, the college continues to enhance students’ learning experiences and support their transition from academia to successful professional careers.

ACEM extends its sincere congratulations to Ms. Jashmi Maharjan and Mr. Rajendra Dulal on reaching this important milestone. The college also expresses its gratitude to Hydro-Consult Engineering Ltd. for its continued partnership and support in advancing engineering education through initiatives such as the Student Fellowship Program.

ACEM wishes both fellows a productive, enriching, and rewarding experience and looks forward to witnessing their continued growth, achievements, and contributions to the engineering profession.
