Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM) proudly inaugurated its first-ever IEEE Student Branch, marking a significant milestone in our journey toward academic excellence, innovation, and the holistic development of future engineers on Shrawan 3, 2083/July 19, 2026.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Arun Kumar Timalsina; Mr. Ramesh Kumar Silwal, Chairperson of ACEM; Prof. Dr. Durga Prasad Sangroula, Principal of ACEM; IEEE ACEM Student Counselor Assoc. Prof. Er. Ajaya Shrestha; and Faculty Advisors Sr. Asst. Prof. Er. Roshani Ghimire and Asst. Prof. Dr. Binayak Ojha. The event was further enriched by the presence of department heads, deputy heads, faculty members, students, and representatives from various IEEE Student Branches and colleges, making the occasion truly memorable.
The establishment of the IEEE ACEM Student Branch marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for ACEM, creating opportunities for students to engage in technical learning, research, innovation, leadership development, professional networking, and global collaboration. As part of the world's largest professional organization dedicated to advancing technology, the Student Branch will empower aspiring engineers to enhance their technical expertise, contribute to impactful projects, and connect with the global IEEE community.
This milestone reflects ACEM's continued commitment to providing a dynamic learning environment that nurtures innovation, encourages professional growth, and prepares graduates to become future-ready engineers and technology leaders.
