Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM) is pleased to announce that Ms. Jashmi Maharjan and Mr. Rajendra Dulal, 4th-year students from the 2079 Batch of the Civil Engineering Department, have been selected for the Student Fellowship under the Industry-Academia Collaboration Program with Hydro-Consult Engineering Ltd.
This achievement reflects the students’ dedication, academic excellence, and commitment to pursuing learning opportunities beyond the classroom. Their selection is a testament to their hard work and potential as future engineering professionals.
Through this eight-month fellowship program, the selected students will gain valuable industry exposure by working on real-world engineering projects, collaborating with experienced professionals, and receiving mentorship from industry experts. The fellowship is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice, enabling students to strengthen their technical competencies while developing practical problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
A notable feature of the fellowship is the sponsorship of the students’ final-year tuition fees, providing additional support for their academic journey while allowing them to actively engage in industry-led learning experiences. Such opportunities help students build confidence, expand their professional networks, and gain a deeper understanding of industry standards and expectations.
The Student Fellowship Program serves as a meaningful platform for strengthening industry-academia collaboration by connecting students with professional environments and practical learning opportunities. Through direct engagement with industry, students are better prepared to meet the evolving demands of the engineering profession and contribute effectively to the development of the sector.
At ACEM, fostering strong partnerships with industry remains central to our mission of producing competent, innovative, and industry-ready graduates. Through collaborations with leading organizations, the college continues to create pathways that support experiential learning, professional growth, research engagement, and career development for its students.
Advanced College of Engineering and Management (ACEM) extends its sincere gratitude to Hydro-Consult Engineering Ltd. for its continued commitment to supporting engineering education and nurturing emerging talent through this fellowship initiative. Such collaborations play a significant role in enriching students’ educational experiences and preparing them for successful professional careers.
ACEM warmly congratulates Ms. Jashmi Maharjan and Mr. Rajendra Dulal on this notable achievement and wishes them a productive, enriching, and rewarding fellowship experience. We look forward to witnessing their continued growth and contributions as they take this important step toward their professional futures.
